growing a peggy martin
in 2005, hurricane katrina put peggy martin's louisiana garden under salt water for two weeks. when it drained, almost everything was dead — except one thornless climbing rose. now we call it the peggy martin rose.
i've always loved things with stories — old furniture, thrifted clothes, estate sale scores. so when i learned peggy's story, i had to have her.
